The Two Are Gathered Leadership Academy and its accompanying podcast, aim to bring together entrepreneurs, organizational leaders, and visionaries to grow knowledge, wisdom and life-changing relationships. Your tour guides for this journey are Michael K. Reynolds and Jim Johnson.
Jim Johnson
Jim is an accomplished businessman with a long track record of managing and developing companies. His background includes experience in the industries of construction, agriculture, oil, gas, elevator service, elevator construction and manufacturing.
His experience as an entrepreneur dates back to 1967 as he constructed and maintained elevators in buildings of all sizes for Otis Elevators and then later as he rapidly built his own business called Elevator Services, Inc. But if you ask Jim, he’ll tell you his best training came from being raised on a farm in a small town in Colorado. Here he developed a sharp work ethic and the talent of stretching a dollar for his clients.
He’s been a principal partner in Tim Milton Construction since 2000 and the company, based in Reno, Nevada, builds commercial buildings, high-end custom homes, churches and provides tenant improvements. But, Jim will tell you he’s mainly in the people business of building dreams for his clients.
Since he was a teenager, Jim has been leading Biblically-based small groups, and his Monday Men’s Group is in its fourth decade of weekly meetings. Jim also leads several more transformational groups. He’s quick to credit these gatherings of leaders as both a great joy, and a secret to his success.
Jim has been married to his wife Cris for 36 years, and considers her his greatest partner in marriage, business and faith. (Cris also provides the beautiful voice that introduces and closes out the Two Are Gathered Leadership Podcast). Jim has two children, and five grandchildren.
Michael K. Reynolds
In addition to co-hosting and producing the Two Are Gathered Leadership Podcast, Michael is an entrepreneur whisperer, marketing enabler, agency founder, historical novelist, photographer, songwriter and producer of Emmy award-winning documentary campaigns.
With 25 years of marketing experience, and over two decades of owning his consulting agency, Global Studio, Michael has been blessed to work with more than a thousand entrepreneurs through the years.
With expertise in most aspects of sales, advertising and marketing and with his pulse on the latest technologies, he loves assisting business owners in developing innovative strategies so they can reach their beautiful islands of success.
Michael also is the host and producer of the Global Studio Marketing Podcast, where he provides listeners with deep insights into the single most important success factor in business: the Marketing Mindset.
As a partner project to the Two Are Gathered Leadership Academy, Michael offers comprehensive marketing training at his Global Studio Marketing Academy.
Twenty years ago, Michael was a bright-eyed, green-around-the-gills entrepreneur when he first met his future mentor, Jim Johnson, and together they launched the Northern Nevada chapter of FCCI (Fellowship of Companies for Christ International). It was Michael’s first experience of the power of “The Table”, that is, a committed gathering with fellow business leaders for coaching and encouragement.
It was at this table where the “Two Are Gathered” principles were forged.
Michael celebrates daily his 23 years of being married to Debbie, who is both an elementary school teacher and the sharpest financial mind in his business. He has three daughters, each of them excelling daily as Daddy’s favorite.
